Me and my brothers each put our names in the game when we first got the cartridge and I put my name in Zelda. It was a week or so before we realized that I was playing a different map.

Konami often does this in their games, where the final boss is very vulnerable once their INCREDIBLY tough defenses are down, (Gradius, Simon's Quest, etc.) That said, it seems to be a trade-off thing, where if you screw up, (like merely touching him or getting hit by his gun,) it's a one hit death, and you have to start all the way over!

This was one of those “only new game for a long time” kind of games for me, if you’re an 80’s kid you know the deal. Whether it was good or bad, you had to master it because until the next birthday or Christmas, this was all you had! I was able to eventually beat it back then, but it wasn’t until the past ten or so years where I learned about how fast you could really clear this one. I clear it about every day lately, got it down to around 20 minutes.

As a (not West) Virginian, I think it's cool to see all of these locations in-game from my neighboring state. I hope someday in a future title of Fallout we will get to see more of my state as well. I know Fallout 3 had a part of Northeastern Virginia in it, but a map dedicated to my state would be really cool to see!

One of my favorite games to play. There are so many secrets to The Ledgen of Zelda. Did you know that after you kill the leavers you can go to the left of the screen and burn the 5th bush to get a heart? And did you know that if you enter dungeon 1 you can leave dungeon 1 and reenter to unlock the door head of you?

I rented this game when I was a kid, Actuallly I thought it was very cool, the hidden bonus rooms and there was a huge sprite representing Daniel, so actually was a new thing to me this bonus rooms. I was only able to get to the tyfu stage, I was not able to beat it. Then as an adult I played in an emulator and finished like in 20 mins, I don’t think is that much difficult. So I feel they wanted to make this game like an arcade style game, this is very similar tu kung fu, you jumó pressing up, there is a kick and a punch, and also there are only 4 stages. I think it wasn’t that bad. I remembered renting more horrible games, like the caveman olímpica, and don’t remember the real name of that game, I had no idea what I had to do there. Probably the jln xmen game is way more horrible. So , I think it was not horrible, if you played as a kid probably it was fun, but it hasn’t aged well, now a days, looks like just old regular game

i am positive that at one point, in the overhead sections, u had to make a jump from screen to screen and while the screen scrolled, u dad to make a turn midair so that u don't fall into the water and game over......and yet, i never seen anyone ever do that, and it makes me wonder reality.

Not sure but I think the Amazon may be based off Classie Freddie Blassey. Part of his gimmick was filing his teeth and biting opponents on the forehead, drawing blood. At least when he wrestled in Japan. Yeah, he was a heel. 😂 The wild part may be from George "the Animal" Steele who ate turnbuckle stuffing or the bizarre Missing Link. Those I can't confirm.

My stress relieving games: 10. Hook (SNES) 9. Sonic Adventure 2 (Dreamcast) 8. Ark (PS5) 7. Tecmo Super Bowl 3 (SNES) 6. Shanghai II (FAMICOM) 5. Resident Evil 2 Remake (PS5) 4. Super Bases Loaded (SNES) 3. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 (PS2) 2. Duck Hunt (NES) 1. Dr. Mario (SNES) I like the NES version of Dr. Mario better but the SNES version lets you play against the computer. That’s the satisfying part.

Jaws on NES... It's fine. I played this game through an emulator, and I noticed no complaints. The title screen is impressive and colorful and it even has the Jaws theme song. Some of the music can be tense, but the bonus stage music is rather jovial and upbeat, which is surprising. Since it's a bonus stage, what do you expect? I see that this game takes a more arcade-style approach with some RPG elements. Of course, they had to take some liberties with the source material. Overall, Jaws on NES is okay. There's noting really wrong about it. One of the negatives I can say about this is the final part where you have to stab the titular Jaws, where you have to stab it just right and be at the right position. I would however say this. The final part has some really impressive parallax scrolling. For a 1987 NES game, this was somehow pushing the NES to its limits.

Kirby is easy. Perfect for chilling after a hard workday. Or between two play of ghost and goblin 😅 Tetris is basic and repetitive. Perfect for unplugging the brain, waiting or introducing a non-gamer. And I prefer Wario's Woods to Tetris, which is more technical and leaves more expression to the player.

Bo Jackson is only the most famous unstoppable player on tecmo. Barry sanders was even faster than bo Christian Okoye just ran over everything. Defenders like Lawrence Taylor, Reggie White, Darrell Green, and Deon Sanders, just to name a few were also game changers. Qb accuracy is also a very important stat in this game as a qb with 50 accuracy will literally only hit the intended target 50% of the time or less, with most of those off target being intercepted, its an interesting dynamic.

Nintendo didnt renew the license because Mike lost to Buster Douglas in 1990. That killed the mystique that Mike had of being invincible. Also they got the license cheap because Mike wasnt champion yet. He was still a rookie. Once he became champ his fee would have cost much more
